INDEPENDENCE DAY
FLAG HOSTING CEREMONY

The grand function started with flag hosting
ceremony followed by National Anthem with honor and respect to Pakistan
flag. Prof. Dr. Riaz hussain, Professors and students present at the event
saluted the flag.
Atiqa Mahmood (4th yr) hosted
the function and the function started with recitation from Holy Quran by
Prof. Dr. Riaz. He expressed his sentiments about the motherland. His speech
was followed by refreshment. Among the students, Awais Saeed Abbasi (4th
year) entertained the audience by blood warming poetry of Allama Muhammad
Iqbal. It was really convincing. Arshi Arif (4th year) expressed her
feelings for Pakistan as a student.
Dr. Akmal Hussain expressed his
sentiments as a Pakistani. He encouraged the new generation to come forward
and dedicate their capabilities for the Nation. Prof. Dr. Khalid said that
we should work hard to flourish as a Nation and the students in college
should abide by the rules and regulations of the institution as that would
be a contribution to the county's development from our side. Dr. Safdar Sial
said that 62nd birthday of Pakistan reminds us that we have survived 62
years of independence and are looking ahead for betterment of our nation.
Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad Dogar expressed his patriotic feelings and said its a
tradition we are observing since decades and hope for the Country's
prosperity. In the end, Prof. Dr. Riaz thanked all the organizers and the
participants for arranging such a nice ceremony. All were in celebrating
mood.
