Medical unit – 5 is 50 bedded Medical ward located in the DHQ Hospital Faisalabad. Dr. Muhammad Hanif Nagra is in charge of this ward with the teaching staff including Associate professor Dr. TahirHabibRizvi, Assistant professors Dr. Amin Anjum and Dr. Hafiz AmjadHussain, Senior Registrars Dr. NaveedAlam, Dr. TalhaZahid, Dr. HumaMuzaffar, Dr. ShahidMaqbool and 18 Post graduate trainees along with 24 House Officers.

This ward has regular teaching programs for post graduate as well as under graduate levels including daily teaching round, morning conference and teaching classes for medical students and Para medics. The Medical unit-5 also manages emergency ward and outpatient department.

This ward facility of video endoscopy and a fully equipped dialysis center round the clock throughout the week. This ward is responsible for dengue/ infectious disease care program and different activities especially preventive care. This ward also has supervisory role in Prisoner ward, Pulmonology and Nephrology departments.
